Upgrade your Transporter’s tailgate with this pair of heavy-duty 1250N gas struts, designed to provide additional support when extra weight has been fitted to the rear door.
Standard tailgate struts can struggle once accessories such as a bike rack, curtain pod or other equipment are added. These upgraded struts contain more pressure than the standard original units, helping the tailgate open fully and reducing the risk of it lowering or trying to close under the additional weight.

- Not suitable for Caravelle or California models
- Not suitable for barn door models
These struts are considerably stronger than standard units and are intended for tailgates carrying additional weight. Always replace both struts together.
