BEFORE YOU ORDER
Choose the light that belongs on your van
Use these checks to narrow your options before ordering. Product-specific instructions and verified fitment details take priority over a general category answer.
Identify the generation and beam application
Use the separate T5, T5.1, T6 and T6.1 ranges. Select the RHD or LHD application specified for your vehicle and market, not just the style you prefer.
Check the existing lighting equipment
Read the product requirements for your original lamps, connectors, wiring and any coding. A lighting upgrade is not automatically a direct swap for every factory specification.
Check the whole kit before installation
Confirm what is supplied and which bulbs, adapters or other components are required. Follow the exact fitting instructions and ask about unclear beam or switching behaviour before changing wiring.
VW Transporter Lights
Our VW Transporter lights are available in the typical H7 standard bulbs but can also be purchased with brighter LED bulbs as well. Lights have to be of the correct size, shape and have the right attachments based on the specific make and model of van. It is for this reason why we have separate ranges for our VW T5 lights and VW T6 lights. Don't just take our word for it though, get to clicking and browse our ranges for yourself.
Compare your options
Make the model and lighting choices in order
Choose a route below, then check the specifications and contents of the individual products. Stock and availability are shown in the catalogue above.
-
T5 or T5.1
Use the separate established category routes. Check the actual vehicle generation and original equipment rather than a broad T5 description.
-
T6 or T6.1
Use the separate T6 and T6.1 ranges and confirm the full product application. A similar lamp shape does not establish an interchangeable fitment.
-
RHD or LHD
Choose the stated driving-side application for the vehicle and intended market. Then check the kit contents, original equipment requirements and fitting instructions.
-
Bulbs and supporting parts
Check the exact bulb specification and intended lamp application. A bulb upgrade and a complete replacement headlight are different purchases.
Buying answers
VW Transporter lights and headlights FAQs
Start with these checks, then use the specifications and fitting information for the exact product you are considering.
Which Transporter headlights fit my van?
Start with the vehicle generation, then the listed RHD or LHD application and original lighting equipment. The model ranges below lead to the relevant listings. Read the full fitment notes before ordering, as generation alone is not enough.
What is the difference between RHD and LHD headlights?
The listing identifies the driving-side application for the lamp. Choose the product specified for your vehicle and intended market; do not assume that similar-looking RHD and LHD headlights can be substituted.
Will LED headlights need coding or wiring changes?
That depends on the exact kit and the factory equipment already fitted. Use the product instructions and any stated installation requirements. If your original lighting specification is not covered, ask the team before ordering.
What if main beam flashes but does not work normally?
Do not use a general category answer as a diagnosis. Record the exact lamp kit, original equipment and switching behaviour, then contact the team with the order details. Follow the supplied instructions rather than trying an unverified wiring change.
Can auxiliary lights work with aftermarket headlights?
Compatibility depends on both lighting products and the wiring interface. Provide the exact lamp and headlight details so the combination can be checked. Check any documentation for the intended road use and market separately.
