VW Transporter T5, T5.1 & T6 Assisted Bonnet Strut
Make opening and supporting your Transporter’s bonnet easier with this assisted bonnet strut kit.
Designed to fit VW Transporter T5, T5.1 and T6 models, the strut attaches directly to the vehicle’s factory ball-ended mounting points. Simply push each end of the strut firmly over the ball fittings until it clips securely into position.
Some Transporters are supplied with only one factory ball fitting. Our kit includes two ball-ended fixings (one for each end of the strut) so you will not need to purchase any additional parts.
If your van only has one ball fitting installed, simply screw the supplied fitting into the existing mounting point using a 13mm spanner. No drilling, additional brackets or permanent modifications are required.
You may need to rotate the end of the strut slightly to align it correctly with both mounting points.
