The Vanshades Original Window Pod® system is a camper van window blinds system that is an easy to install, pre-assembled blind and frame system which offers stylish privacy for all windows of your VW T7 Transporter & Ford Transit Custom camper van.

A tasteful alternative to curtains, Window Pods achieve a flawless modern finish to your windows and conversion whilst offering blackout and thermal qualities.

Our easy to install Window Pod® system is suitable for use at conversion stage, or to retro fit to existing conversions.

Vanshades X Blind System

All Window Pods will now feature our newly developed X System, a specially designed blind solution that improves functionality and durability.

New Blind System Features:

• The previous protruding handle has been replaced with a precision-engineered X-profile aluminium rail for a sleeker, space-saving design
• Functionality has been improved as the new rail can be operated by grabbing the scalloped edge at any point, eliminating the need to reach for the handle at the centre of the blind
• Nylon plastic components are now glass-filled to prevent unwanted cord friction

Cellular Thermal/Blackout Features

The foil lined cellular pleated structure of our thermal blinds have been created to give a modern sleek look. The cellular design holds a layer of air which acts as an insulator, retaining heat in the winter and keeping your vehicle cool in the summer.

The carpet used on Vanshades Window Pods is ‘Easy Liner’ from Harrisons Trim Supplies. This is not the same carpet we supply, so we strongly reccomend getting sample packs before ordering.

• Batch Colours – If you are considering ordering multiple Window Pods for your camper van, please bear in mind that our material colours can vary slightly from batch-to-batch. Ordering all of your pods at the same time is the very best way of making sure all of your pods are colour-matched.
• Free Samples – We cannot stress enough the importance of ordering a blind and carpet sample first, to make sure you’re happy with the materials & colours of your Window Pods before you go ahead and order. Colours on computer monitors can vary and be misleading so for this reason we strongly advise you order the sample packs before placing an order for your Van Shades.
• Shipping – We now stock VanShades products at our warehouse for quick dispatch or collection.
